Valk Pros LED lights have been installed at a pig farm in Wanroij/NL. The stables are well lit with 6000K light color transparent LED lights. The corridor is also equipped with Valk Pros, which makes it a whole in terms of lighting.
Leon van Berkel runs a closed pig farming operation in Wanroij, housing 1,300 sows and 10,000 finishing pigs. In 2019, he decided to switch to Valk-Agro LED lighting for his barns. Before 2019, Leon used conventional lighting with lamp shades. These lamps often broke within a year and were not waterproof, making it impossible to clean them with a pressure washer. The light output remains excellent and at the same level as when the lamps were new. Because the lamps can be fully cleaned with a pressure washer, they stay clear, and the light output has remained consistent over the years. During this time, he has only needed to replace a few lamps. The service from Valk-Agro is also outstanding: the lamps are delivered quickly, are cost-effective, and easy to replace. Simply remove the old lamp, click the new one into the clamps, connect the wires in the junction box, and you’re done.
Leon van Berkel is extremely satisfied with Valk-Agro LED lighting. The lamps are completely waterproof, highly reliable, easy to maintain, and significantly reduce energy consumption.
