History
In 2015, Valk-Agro developed a solution to make lights more resistant to the specific circumstances in livestock farming. Lights in this sector often break quickly because they are not waterproof, which means they are affected by moisture and ammonia and in many cases can even be responsible for barn fires. Valk-Agro found a way to make lights completely waterproof. They can now be easily cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner, without the risk of damage.
The result is the Valk Pro LED lighting: a robust, waterproof LED light. This light is energy-efficient, long-lasting, offers stable light output and gives livestock farmers confidence in reliable lighting.
Our Vision
In Valk-Agro’s vision, livestock farmers do not want to have to worry about their barn lighting. Companies are becoming increasingly larger and more professional, and they must be able to rely on the quality, certainty and safety of lighting that is resistant to the specific circumstances of livestock farming.

In order to offer livestock farmers certainty, quality and safety in the field of stable lighting, we see it as our mission to create livestock farming-proof lighting that livestock farmers can rely on.

The Valk Pro LED light was a success from the start. After many applications in Dutch livestock farming, the Valk Pro has now also been discovered abroad. There are now many thousands of Valk Pros burning in Europe.
